Those invited included State Senator Doug Stoner, State
Representatives Rich Golick and Sheila Jones, Commissioner Bob Ott, and

Judge Maria Golick

innovative programs in Cobb County’s Judicial system which save the
County money while providing justice, especially regarding drugs and

creating a picture history book of Vinings for Arcadia Press’ "Images of
America" series. She is looking for pictures of Vinings to include in
the book. Specifically pictures of interesting sites and events such as
old photos of summer residences, the stock car speedway, the golf
course, the ski slope, commercial establishments, the Boy Scout Camp and
black families who lived here. Please contact Susan at susan.kendall @ymail.com , or to see about including your pictures and memoirs in this book. (Photos can be scanned and returned.)
On a sad note,Ernie, subject of "Ernie Goes to School"
who was the Club’s only 4-legged "speaker" passed away recently. He will
be missed by many children, as well as hospital patients and nursing
home residents.
Mark your calendars:
